Shortly before Christmas 2024, we were pleased to welcome Konditorei Hotz as a new client. Hotz is known for delicious breads, exquisite pralines, and fine patisserie. And for almost 130 years, it has been an integral part of the Zurich Oberland bakery scene.
We started with a fresh look for their social media presence. A Christmas-themed photoshoot provided material to showcase all the delicacies of the holiday season on Instagram and Facebook. Since then, we’ve been responsible for regularly updating the channels and managing the community.

Into the Advent Season with a Wink
The first campaign was all about the Christmas season. Tipsy truffles and the original Hotz Küssli, an almond pastry, were the focus. All in pink and with headlines featuring a playful undertone, the truffles and Küssli were strategically placed around the Hotz branches in Dübendorf, Stettbach, and Uster. This drew attention to Bakery Hotz and boosted pre-Christmas sales.

A Love Story with Tradition
Why do people go to the baker? Because it’s nearby, the sales staff is particularly friendly, or you can only buy your favorite bread there? We believe that going to a bakery is like a love relationship – it has to fit. This guiding idea runs like a thread through the second Hotz poster campaign – cheeky, surprising, and with a wink. In January and February 2025, the focus was on bread expertise. Whether it’s “hot Heinz”, who “can only be had at Hotz”, “eternal Emil”, who “isn’t just for one night”, or “Ueli, the rustic one”, who “is one of a kind” and presents itself as a strong and crisply baked rye bread: It’s okay to smile.



The Easter Bunny is just around the Corner
Easter is the festival of chocolate, and at Hotz you’ll find the most beautiful Easter bunnies. Each one is meticulously handcrafted from antique molds.
We showcased this craftsmanship with an OOH campaign in the vicinity of the bakery branches. As usual, with the customary wink.
