Chiara A.Anyone looking to combine sports with a summer feeling will find exactly what they are looking for at the Samigo Sport Club in Zurich-Enge. I particularly recommend Outdoor Yoga@Samigo or “FIT with TIFF” – a HIIT workout on the rooftop overlooking Lake Zurich, suitable for all fitness levels. The best part? After the workout, the lake is right outside the door, providing a well-deserved cool down.

Joko: My next sporting discovery is still to come: at the beginning of July, I will be cycling from the Rhône towards Spain as far as Perpignan. The route promises diverse landscapes, plenty of exercise, and hopefully some new favorite spots. I don’t yet know which highlights await me along the way – that’s exactly what makes it so appealing. In any case, the anticipation of sporting challenges and unexpected discoveries is great.

Resian: When I am drawn to Lucerne, I like to take the boat further to Vitznau. The Vitznau Kurpark is located directly on the lake – a beautiful place to relax, swim, or stand-up paddle (stand-up paddles can also be rented there). At the small snack bar, there are “Badi” fries to satisfy your hunger, refreshing ice cream, or even an Aperol Spritz with a view of Lake Lucerne. For those who want to add a bit of exercise, the excursion can be combined with a trip up the Rigi. The valley station is just around the corner.

Fridolin: When I’m out on my bike, I like to plan the route so that it includes the descent through the Lorzentobel in the Canton of Zug. From Neuägeri towards Baar, a varied route through an impressive ravine landscape awaits. The mix of nature, flow, and views makes this route a real summer favorite for me: a path where the journey itself becomes a small adventure and it’s not just the destination that counts. There is also a new loop walkway nearby. I haven’t explored it myself yet, but it’s definitely on my list.
